On 12.07.2018 it was time again, the B2Run went for the C-P-S in the 3rd round. In summer temperatures a team of sensational 17 runners and 2 fans started. Together with 7700 other running enthusiasts from about 450 companies, it was necessary to negotiate 5.6 km over the Wasengelände and around the Mercedes-Benz Museum before finally entering the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Before the start, a few logistical challenges still had to be overcome. However, partially adjusted rail traffic and above-average traffic jam posed no obstacles for the team of the C-P-S. After the external warm-up by the sun and a pleasantly warmed stone staircase, we started towards the party mile / start, of course just-in-time. Arranged as ambitious runners, the mood before the start pushed us neatly.

With a team rating of 02:20:52 and a team average of 29 min 46 sec, we have exceeded our performance of last year. The pioneers were Jonathan Koch, with a time of 24:37, André Wurster (26:07) and Samet Akgün (26:24). However, such an above-average team time was only possible thanks to the ingenious team spirit, our motivation and the good mood at the B2Run. Special thanks go to the colleagues who jumped in at short notice and supported the running team highly motivated.

After this successful run, there was fruit, water and non-alcoholic wheat beer in the Mercedes-Benz Arena to make the team event sweaty but happy.

The B2Run 2019 can come with this ingenious result. We are already working on a sophisticated training concept to be at least as fast, maybe even with even more participants! 🙂
